Mitch & Jamie were both brilliant and really supportive, which was good as I didn't feel stupid when it took me a while to get the routines (or was dragging behind). Would appreciate it if you could pass on my thanks to both.

Whilst I know I couldn't complete all of the exercises (and I may not have been the easiest at times), I am so pleased that I made it to the end and wouldn't have done it without your support.

I was so close to breaking point a couple of times and getting through Monday was a challenge in itself as ached all over. Not going to rule out coming back for another early next year as will be a good test for me to see how my fitness has improved.

Learnt variety of different exercises so as soon as I recover I will be looking to step up my training a few gears and introduce some different things and looking into Thai boxing classes as well (has to be one of my favourites). Thanks once again.

Overall I felt it was great to do, it was tough and at certain points I wanted to give up but the trainers were motivating and made it a little easier to bear; I found the nutritional workshop very useful and understood why I store fat. Lost 4.2lbs

Basic camp was just fine, enjoyed training sessions, increased fitness levels in short time and got over fear of heights. Lost 2.4lbs, 1.8% fat, 1inch off waist 1.5 inches off hips

I met some lovely people and realised I could do more exercise than I thought and get along with a bunch of women, I also realised I was quite good at certain activites such as wall climbing never thought I would be able to climb but managed a personal best of 33secs up a 30ft wall having never climbed before, the trainers were great, motivating and used humour to get us to do more and get us through every gruelling session, weekend sessions are great for busy people like me, would definitely do it again. Lost 3lbs, 1.9% fat, 2 inches off waist, 2 inches off hips

Just what I needed to kick start my fitness and detox made easy in this environment, having no caffeine and alcohol was easier than I imagined. At the end of the weekend I felt like I had worked every part of my body and it inspired me to train much harder and be more diversified with workouts. Even though I was exhausted I improved on my lap taps times by the third day which suggests my fitness was improving. Excellent scenery and excellent venue for running with good hills. Very good nutritional advice, took a lot away even though I thought I ate pretty healthy already

Tried kettlebells for the first time and was great to have a high ratio of instructors to make sure we had the right technique. Coming back to fitness after an injury, so was a good test for my body and trainers were good at giving alternative exercises where relevant for my old injury. Beautiful setting, really good food catered well for veggies – lost 3.5lbs

Beautiful scenery and great for working out surrounded by nature, accommodation basic but you come prepared, healthy home cooked food and trainers were motivating and encouraging, you received individual help which was fantastic and tips to take away, overall a great fitness challenge to kick start weight loss

Just to say thank you for all your efforts in making the weekend something i will never ever forget in a hurry! A very painful experience but I am very pleased with my results. The instructors were very motivating. it was a good kickstart to getting fit. I was very pleased that I could manage to keep up being a lot older than the other ladies. I lost 1/2 pound and 1.5% fat on the weekend and have lost 5 more in 2 weeks I now weight 10 st 1 lb next week I should be under 10 st for the 1st time in years I feel very motivated to reach my target of 9.5 st. Thank you for cooking meat free meals for me, I would like the recipe for the stuffed aubergine please. I will be back for more next year and will check the website for details on your Canary Island weeks next year...

I loved the weekend - although I was no where near as fit as I thought I was - it was a real eye opener for me. Since returning (once the aching stopped) I signed up for a personal trainer who uses a lot of the techniques we did on the weekend. I see him twice a week and along with this I do 1 endurance cycle (30 miles+) and try to fit in 2 additional sessions (30 mins run & a class - usually circuits.); I haven't lost any weight yet but my body shape is beginning to change. I have not checked my body fat.

I have bought and have been taking Super Strength Vitamin D3. I am thinking more about my diet, have cut back carbs especially in the evenings, switched to wholemeal / seeded bread. I have bought some seeds (but still can't bring myself to eat them....) I have also bought couscous as an alternative and also wholewheat pasta - although yet to eat. I am feeling great - not sure which component of the above this is down to. Thanks again for giving me the kick up the backside that I needed and may see you again some time in the future

My diet and fitness regime are going well. Since fatcamp I've totally changed my diet. I've cut out carbs in favour of protein eg I now have eggs for breakfast instead of cereal. I've been much more motivated with exercise. Last week alone I did running, kickboxing, weight training, British Military Fitness and Turkish dancing. I even went for a 3 hour coastal walk! I've doubled the distance of my runs and I've signed up for some races and endurance events. Because of the increased levels of activity, my weight has plateaued but my muscle tone has improved and I expect to lose more in the coming weeks. I'll keep you posted.

First off I would like to once again extend my thanks to you and to the team, Mitch, Jamie, and Julien for all of your guidance and assistance this past weekend.

It was an experience that I will never forget and I hope to come back to see you next season!

In the meantime I have already begun making the changes that you suggested for me and it hasn't been so difficult so far. (knock on wood!) Mentally I feel good about the changes and the hubby is backing me up.
And so far there have been some results. I seem to have lost 4 lbs so far this week. I am eating a bit more everyday than I was in the past but only the items on your list.

Thank you so much for your offer of help. I really appreciate it. I will keep you posted on how things are progressing.

I did limp out of the boot camp completely exhausted – but I have to say that I do feel that exercise is somewhat easier now.

I have also taken onboard your information with respect to nutrition and am no longer interested in low fat foods – but am concentrating on eating things low in saturated fats and lower carbs and more protein. I find that I am not hungry anymore.

My weight is pretty much stable, not lost anything significant but my clothes do feel looser.

I have been following the high protein diet you told me to try and I have lost 12lbs since I came on the Fatattack weekend, 2 weeks ago. The only thing I need to more of is exercise but I am working on it. Thank you all for a brilliant and exhausting weekend, I still can't believe how much I was able to do..
