Situated in the heart of South London, Crystal Palace Park is a large park with a big past. There is the site where the former landmark glass Crystal Palace exhibition stood between 1854 and 1935, and there are still the life-size dinosaur models that were built by the Victorians. With plenty of green space, this park is home to the National Sports Centre and a lake, and has all sorts of amenities including a children’s farm, outdoor concert stage and playground. The park is easy to get to using Crystal Palace railway station or numerous bus routes such as the N2, N137 and N63.
